Minimum System Requirements
Your hardware will need to satisfy the following minimum requirements for a successful implementation of the Net/FSE software:
- Pentium 4 2.2 GHz
- 1 GB of RAM
- 5 GB free disk space - additional space needed for event log storage; 500 GB recommended for an evaluation.
- Linux Operating System (see below)
- PostgreSQL Version 8.0
Supported Operating Systems
Net/FSE is supported on the following installations of any POSIX compliant UNIX system with a Java 5 or higher runtime environment:
- RedHat Enterprise Linux 3+
- Fedora 6+
- Debian 4+
- Ubuntu Server 6+
- Gentoo 2007.0+
- Mac OS X 10.4+
