Andy Alsop, President, CEO, Chairman
Andy is an experienced business leader. Andy's previous company, Panorama Point Corp., provided web-development services for clients such as Lucent Technologies, the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and Cowboys & Indians Magazine. Andy led the sale of Panorama Point to a top-tier New Mexico search engine optimization and web development firm in 2005. Andy graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration from the School of Business & Economics at WVU.

Ben Uphoff, Ph. D., VP Research, Board Member
Ben was formerly a staff member at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the Network Engineering group where he developed leading-edge software solutions for the network security operations at LANL. He developed the Net/FSE technology, which captures 120 million records per day at LANL. His research focuses on developing and applying intrusion detection and event correlation techniques for large, highly diverse networks. Ben received his Ph. D. in Computer Science from Iowa State University in August 2006. His dissertation work under Professor Johnny S. K. Wong involved correlation of high-volume IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) alerts from disparate sensors on large enterprise networks.

Gary Ebersole, Board Member
Gary has over 30 years experience in the information technology industry. In addition to experience in senior management positions with industry leaders such as Sun Microsystems, Informix Software and Apollo Computer, Gary has also held executive roles in several enterprise software startups. These include President and CEO of Clustra Systems, CEO of Paremus Limited and President of ANTS Software. In 2002, Gary engineered the sale of Clustra Systems to Sun Microsystems. He specializes in working with early-stage startups, often as the first professional executive manager in these companies bringing a focus on product strategy, marketing programs and sales development. Gary has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington in Seattle.

Catherine A. Allen, Advisor
Catherine is the Chairman and CEO of The Santa Fe Group. For more than 30 years, Catherine Allen has been an outstanding leader in technology strategy and financial services and a luminary in business innovation. Catherine has won accolades from industry, government, academia, business groups and the press for her success in fostering innovation, promoting new technologies, and bringing stakeholders together to address common challenges. Catherine served as the Founding CEO of BITS from its inception in 1997 through her departure in May 2007. Today she serves as Chairman, CEO and founder of The Santa Fe Group, a strategic consulting company based in New Mexico. BITS’ accomplishments under Catherine’s leadership include creating best practices in more than 30 areas of financial services risk management, facilitating the industry’s transition from paper to electronic payments, and creating a trusted forum in which corporate leaders could speak candidly about critical challenges in a noncompetitive environment. Catherine is the recipient of the 2007 US Banker magazine Marion O. Sandler Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the industry, her dedication to inspiring others, and her political and social contributions during her career.

Larry J. Hughes, Jr., Advisor
Larry is the former head of Amazon.com's worldwide Information Security team, a twenty-year Internet veteran, a successful author and a popular industry speaker. Today Larry is the founder of a yet-to-be-announced security startup, and the founder and principal at Infosec Introspect, a consultancy that primarily advises technology investors and companies subject to Payment Card Industry / Data Security Standard (PCI/DSS) compliance. At Amazon.com, Larry made notable contributions betwen 1999 through 2006. While heading its worldwide security team he played instrumental roles in achieving compliance with regulatory and industry requirements such as EU Safe Harbor, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and PCI/DSS. Prior to Amazon.com Larry founded a seminal Managed Security Service, the architecture of which inspired a new product line for a publicly traded firewall company. He is the author of Actually Useful Internet Security Techniques (1995), a pioneering text published in four languages, and a contributor to five other books.
